In a recent episode of the Money with Mission podcast, your intrepid sustainable investing advocates (also known as Ben and Kyle) had a great conversation with @Felicia Froe (https://www.linkedin.com/in/moneywithmission/), a powerful advocate for financial wellness and real talk about money. She gave us the chance to remind our investing friends that common sense is your best ally when you choose sustainable strategies. Here are a few examples.
Reminder 1 – At its root, sustainable investing is easy to understand and makes a lot of sense.
Reminder 2 – It’s not your job to understand all the ESG and socially responsible strategies out there. It’s your job to understand what you care about, and the fund company’s job to make sure they make sense to you.
Reminder 3 – Clarity and transparency are the best indicators that you have found the right investment for you.
Reminder 4 – You can find all this basic information and more in our book, Sustainable Investing: An ESG Starter Kit for Everyday Investors. It will put you on the path to finding your first sustainable investment.
